Linda Sinacola is a native of Sutton, Massachusetts, and a descendant of some of the town's earliest settlers. She is a graduate of the former School of the Worcester Art Museum, and has studied extensively with noted area artists.

Mrs. Sinacola works with both oils and watercolors, seeking to capture the beauty, past and present, of her native New England. Her subjects are often the structures that New Englanders have built, cherished - and sometimes neglected - for generations. These are the timeless houses and barns that date back two centuries or more, the prim churches rising from town centers, the brick homes of hard-working mill villages, and the stalwart lighthouses that guard the coasts.

Her palette embraces the landscape itself, with views of meadows, old farms, the sea, and small, intimate studies of the region's flowers and plants. In the meeting of ambitious human civilization and patient, timeless nature, her work finds its heart.

Mrs. Sinacola is an artist member of the Rockport Art Association, Northshore Arts Association and Academic Artists Association, Hudson Valley Art Association and an associate member of the Lyme Art Association in Connecticut.

Her work has been exhibited widely, including at galleries and libraries in Worcester, Springfield, Greater Boston, and Maine. Her many awards include the Aldro T. Hibbard Memorial Award from the North Shore Arts Association and the Maurice Goldberg Memorial Art Award from the Rockport Art Association.

Her paintings may be seen at the gallery in the historic Brick Block Building at Sutton center.
